The article discusses the importance of Yezidi autonomy in Iraq and clarifies the position of the official social socialist movement of Iraq on the issue. The article provides information on the territory of the Yezidi autonomy, the languages to be official in the autonomy, and the Yezidi division of the armed forces of Iraq. The article concludes that the Yezidi autonomy is important for the self-determination of the Yezidi people and will complicate the separation of Kurdistan from Iraq.
